Free Intro Courses
T3 offers 2 different kinds of training. Anyone can take the Intro to Web 2.0 Tools course for free. It is a self-paced course that provides discussion areas for student interaction, but there is no guarantee that there will be other students taking the course at the same as you. Also, the discussions for this course are not facilitated by an instructor.
Facilitated Instructor-led Courses
In addition to the free Intro course you can sign up for facilitated, instructor-led courses. These are online, asynchronous courses that have a start and end date and are taken by a cohort of students progressing at the same pace. Students can log in and access the material whenever it’s convenient, as long as they can submit assignments and complete tasks on schedule. These courses are led by technology trainer Lisi Gopin and have associated tuition fees. Currently, you can sign up for Web 2.0 Tools in the Classroom. Tuition is $300 per student.
